While transcription processing occurs locally, you control what data leaves your computer. The software includes optional integrations (such as Clio) and export features that allow you to share transcripts when you choose to do so. We do not automatically transmit your data, but you have the ability to export and share your transcripts through available integrations and export functions.
When you use optional integrations (such as Clio, practice management software, or cloud storage services), your data handling is subject to both our terms and the terms of those third-party services. You are responsible for understanding and agreeing to the data handling practices of any integrated services you choose to use.

Lexopoly operates multiple products (LocalTranscribe, QuoteCreator, ComplianceLogger, RevenueRescue, and others). LocalTranscribe provides professional transcription software and related services. Our freemium model includes 5 minutes of free transcription per month, with volume-based pricing available through paid subscriptions.
While we strive for high availability, we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance and updates may cause temporary service interruptions.

FirmMind is AI privacy middleware designed to anonymize personally identifiable information (PII) before processing by cloud AI services. FirmMind is not a data protection guarantee. While FirmMind employs pattern-based PII detection and redaction, no automated system can guarantee complete identification and removal of all sensitive information.
Users are responsible for compliance with applicable privacy regulations (HIPAA, GDPR, CCPA, state bar ethics rules, etc.). FirmMind supports your compliance efforts but does not ensure compliance on its own. Always review anonymized output before transmitting sensitive data.
MailMan is a document mailing service that facilitates sending physical mail via USPS. Lexopoly is not responsible for the content of documents you send, delivery delays or failures caused by USPS or other postal carriers, or any legal consequences arising from mailed documents.
Certified mail tracking and delivery confirmation are provided by USPS. Delivery timelines, proof of service, and related matters are governed by USPS policies and procedures, not by Lexopoly.

While transcription processing occurs locally on your device, all transcripts require human review and verification before use in professional, legal, medical, or official contexts. LocalTranscribe transcripts are not court-certified.
QuoteCreator generates fee agreement documents based on your input. Generated documents are templates that require professional review. QuoteCreator does not provide legal advice regarding fee structures, retainer agreements, or billing practices. Users are responsible for ensuring all fee agreements comply with their jurisdiction's rules of professional conduct.

In no event shall our total liability to you for all damages, losses, and causes of action exceed the amount you have paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.
We are not liable for professional consequences, legal outcomes, medical decisions, or business losses resulting from transcript usage. Users assume full responsibility for professional application of transcripts.
LocalTranscribe's local processing architecture supports HIPAA compliance requirements by keeping data on your local device during transcription. However, HIPAA compliance depends on your implementation, policies, and procedures. We do not guarantee automatic HIPAA compliance and recommend consulting with compliance professionals.
LocalTranscribe software, website content, trademarks, and related intellectual property are owned by Lexopoly Inc. You receive a limited license to use our software and services according to these terms.
You retain ownership of your audio files and transcripts. By using our services, you grant us a limited license to process your content solely for the purpose of providing transcription services.
LocalTranscribe incorporates open source components. All components are used in compliance with their respective licenses. A complete list of open source licenses is available in the software.
The LocalTranscribe software application includes additional terms and disclaimers. Updated terms and conditions can be found at lexopoly.com/terms and supersede any terms displayed in older software versions.
LocalTranscribe software is licensed, not sold. Your license is subject to these terms and may be revoked for violations.
We may update the software and services at any time. Continued use constitutes acceptance of updates and modifications.
The software is designed to process transcription locally on your device. However, certain features (analytics, integrations, updates) may communicate with our servers. You can control these features through software settings.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any disputes arising from these terms or use of our services shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.
We may modify these terms at any time with 30 days notice. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of modified terms.
If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
